We met at a mutual friend’s party in November 2020 and never really stopped talking. What began as an easy conversation quickly turned into constant banter and a best-friends-first kind of love. Somewhere between laughing at each other and showing up for each other, this quietly became something permanent. In 2022, we welcomed Kigan and learned very quickly that life gets louder, sweeter, and better when shared. Love, laughter, and a lot of mutual tolerance brought us here. After that, commitment felt less like a question and more like a given. So when the proposal finally happened, romantic, carefully planned, and involving family and friends, it still managed to be a complete surprise. Now we’re here, making it official, and celebrating the life we’ve already built together.
